GloveArts' Summer Youth Theatre Institute is proud to present a FIRST GLIMPSE into their process of creating an original adaption of The Pirates of Penzance. Get a sneak peek at what the participants have been learning and their process! Celebrate their achievements with them as they continue on their journey to make their own musical adaptation of this beloved classic. What fun!!!!  

Then come back on August 15 - 17 — for the final product — when their original masterpiece gets performed by the creators themselves!!!!   

During this 4-week Theatre Institute program our participants will have fun, learn a lot, and work together to create their own unique presentation of this pivotal piece that paved the way for the modern musical. Our students will attend workshops with our teaching artists focused on: acting, music, choreography, wardrobe, tech, and more. They will cast the show -- and sail into the deep blue for an exciting, fast-paced rehearsal process that put the power of storytelling into the capable hands of our participants -- guided by our professional cohort of collaborative theatre artists.

You, our audience, is in for such a treat -- four unique live performances we share with friends, family and the community at large!
